The TechCtrl program is the first innovative, experiential learning program in information technology of its kind. The program was developed to assist entry-level/incoming IT professionals and current IT professionals acquire hands-on experience in various disciplines of IT, build industry best and safety practices, and acquire CEUs towards certifications.
How does the program work?
Each worksite project is managed by our TechCtrl manager and led by an on-site instructor. The on-site instructor is experienced in completing projects with relative core competencies required of the project. TechCtrl members will register for limited seats to attend approaching TechCtrl projects in a first-come, first-served basis. The TechCtrl members will meet with the instructor at an off-site location or on the job site. Upon arrival, the instructor will check the member in and will check member out when they depart. Hours of training will be recorded on a TechCtrl transcript which can be downloaded/exported for job applications and CEU acquisition.
